“…by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s been a difficult time for the family but after chemotherapy and lots of prayers and support, we claim that she’s healed.
I made a reversible tote bag for her and asked Sidney to design the word “healed” with L in the shape of pink ribbon. We printed it on iron-on transfer paper and ironed it on one side of the tote bag.
I used plain cream on one side with pink polka dots at the bottom, and a lovely pink floral on the other side, together with pink canvas straps. I was originally worried that it would be too pink but I thought it looked okay. This is the shade of pink I really like – kind of a muted dusty rose.
Anyway, as I mentioned, this is one of the things I really enjoy about learning how to sew – being able to make gifts for friends and family.
