This was one of the first projects I completed – a crib bumper, a pillow case and two bolster cases for my son. I got the fabric from Spotlight when I didn’t know where else to buy fabric. After I discovered Brighton Accessories House and the other shops at People Park Centre and People Park Complex at Chinatown, as well as the various fabric destash groups on Facebook, I rarely buy fabric at Spotlight anymore.
These were not very well-made to be honest, because I made them during the time I can’t even sew straight yet. You can’t even remove the bolster case because I made them close so tightly, but Sam was able to use these for a few months and it made me happy seeing him playing with them. And I loved this woodland fabric.
